Sparty Joe,
Thank you for your note. The beauty of a polarizing design is that you end up either loving or hating it. There’s not much middle ground. I feel the same way about sedan, which I think is as ugly as one of those pug dogs.
It certainly could fade, but that $38K price tag is only for a fully loaded top of the line model, even Chrysler doesn’t expect to sell many of those. A more realistic price should fall around $31,000.
I’d like to add that the auto advertisers have no influence on my reviews.
Thanks for reading and writing.
Sincerely,
Scott

dear scott,
sorry to be the bearer of real news: the sebring convertible will not be a crowd pleaser. the four door sedan is a practical and safe auto. a four seat convertible? 38k? a sleek hardtop option. i know this article had to be written "tongue in cheek." let me see, the new sebring convertible or; maybe a saab? hmmmmmmmm.
i realize your paper depends on the auto advertisers. this vehicle will fade faster than a "flattop" haircut. just my opine.
