the days of the late 90's are over for all of us. i remember working in houston in 1984. they experienced what detroit is now going through. the wholesale oil refining businss went to shit. people in subs started turning their keys into the banks. many of the middle income subs had abandoned homes with plywood covering any and all entrances. it looked like the gulf coast prior to a hurricane. it took houston about 20 years to fully recover.
