great meeting

dude,

went to my 1900 hour meeting. two new peeps. one was young guy, back from iraq, going through divorce and miserable. the other, early 30's and just lost wife(death) and father of a young son. life is upside down.

we presented the two with the aa program and offerred assistance in phone numbers, working the steps, and etc.

i actually felt for these boys. i hope they decide to make the effort to change their lives. i think they will. both appear bright. our meetings are outstanding. we have many insightful drunks who have turned their lives around.

i probably will chair some afternoon meetings this weekend. i am working with chris byrd's mother-in-law tomorrow on step four. she is 62 and broke. chris byrd is the current heavyweight champ. her name, marley, the mother of chris's wife, is definitely caucasian. the family (byrds) is originally from saginaw. chris byrd lives in las vegas down the street from don king.
