ms. riley,
re: thursday free press, "comerica."
how long before comerica starts to close its branches and its employees? let's continue to "ride the fence." let's continue not to call "it the way it really is."
i have lived most of my adult economic life outside of this state, you know, the southern states that michiganders usually make fun of because of the ya'all stuff. as one born and raised in the detroit area, i have known for years the eventual plight of this area. this area calls for leaders and leadership. newspapers and its writers should print the truth when the truth does hurt. just like jack stated as he sat across from the tom cruise character, "you can't handle the truth."
michigan doesn't have the leaders. michigan cannot handle the truth. just ask the potential comerica job applicants who choose not to come to this state and raise their families. not my take, just ask THEM.
